Cocker Spaniels are members of the gundog family and have a long history as working dogs. Originally known as the "cocking spaniel" they were used for flushing out grouse and woodcock.

Cocker Spaniels have many 'cousins', including the American Cocker Spaniel, Springer Spaniel and the Field Spaniel to name a few. In recent years, with the rise of designer dogs, the CockerPoo has become a family favourite. One half Cocker Spaniel, it is a energetic and loving.

These beautiful dogs truly mimic their surroundings and can adapt to most home environments with ease. They are sociable and love spending time with people and other animals alike. They do have a penchant for chasing squirrels and other small animals though so you should be prepared for that should you be considering adding a Cocker Spaniel to your family.
